Horse Of Fortune wins Gr3 in Hong Kong

Previously named Strongman when racing in South Africa, Horse Of Fortune won the Gr3 Sa Sa Ladies' Purse Handicap over 1800 metres at Sha Tin on Sunday.

Tellina runs 2nd in German St Leger Gr3

Now trained by Andreas Wohler, Tellina ran 2nd in the 2800 metre St Leger on his German debut. The 7 year old gelded son of Silvano was unplaced in his previous five starts (in Dubai) and was having his first start in almost 6 months.

Yorker runs 2nd in UK Gr3

Yorker, a 7 year old gelding by Jet Master, last raced more than 2 years ago in June 2014. Making his first UK start, in the yard of Willian Haggas, he ran on stoutly to finish 2nd at 14/1 to Scottish in the  Gr3 Strensall Stakes over 9 furlongs.

Star Empire in the money again, 3rd in the Nad Al Sheba Trophy

Four the fourth year in a row, the now 9 year old Star Empire finished in the money in the Gr3 Nad Al Sheba Trophy, worth $200 000, at Meydan. He ran 3rd, beaten only a neck by second placed Certerach, although well behind the winner, Sheikhzayedroad.

Forries Waltz bags the Gr2 Al Rashidiya

Mike de Kock continued his dominance of the Al Rashidiya in Dubai today with his runners finishing 1st, 2nd and 4th. At the head of the pack was the South African bred colt, Forries Waltz'. The son of Greys Inn recorded his 5th career victory from only 6 starts when overhauling his stablemate, Ertijaal, in the closing stages. This was Forries Waltz first attempt at group or graded level.

Mastermind holds on for 3rd in the Gr2 Al Fahidi Fort in Dubai

Having produced three decent efforts in 2015 during his first stint in Dubai, Mastermind stepped up to Gr 2 level and held on for third, beaten 2.75 lengths by the hot favourite, Safety Check (Ire).
